This is a rather short comic book aimed probably more for 4-5th graders and up. The story is nice, there is a fair number of Minecraft references that will delight the readers that are very familiar with the game. This was a fairly quick read for my kid, only about 2 afternoons.Any parent who wishes their kid read more and played less should get this comic book. The plot is good, characters interesting, the blocky graphics make it obvious that this is Minecraft style comic book, but the best part is that it follows the big lines of the Arthurian myth.I went through a few pages of the comic book and I feel that vocabulary is a appropriate for readers aged 7-8 and up.
My child is really into Minecraft, so I bought this for him and he just won’t put it down, I’m very happy about that. The reading level is appropriate for the targeted public.I would say this is an easy, yet interesting and enjoyable read for younger and older children alike, I recommend it if you want your kids to read more while enjoying really cool illustrations inspired by their favorite game, Minecraft. My kid says he wishes the characters in King Arthur comic book could also be found in the actual game :) I would most probably buy more episodes if there are more to come in this series.
I'm very happy with this new purchase of King Arthur and the Dragon Rider comic book, it's the second episode of the series and the second I'm buying, my kid was just as excited about this one as he was about the first episode. Young Arthur has to prove himself and his talent as leader, and my kid liked that the protagonist has to fight a dragon to do so. We're happy customers and my kid is a happy reader :) I highly recommend this comic series!
This book was amazing. I loved the graphics and the story was what bewildered me most. This was perfect! I loved the adventures, twists, and the characters. Herobrine was fearless and very reassuring. I liked King Arthur and how he made his way around problems. Sir Lancelot was pretty funny, and he was also a loyal and brave Knight as well. Morgana the evil witch was cunning, but horrible! I liked this story. Make some more for me!
This new episode of the King Arthur and the Dragon Rider Minecraft style comic series was great, my nephew liked it a lot yet again, I already offered him the first episode of this series and he was really excited to read this new episode. I'm happy I can surprise my only nephew every now and then with a quality, age-appropriate comic book, especially since he likes reading illustrated stories. I'll be buying more, we're a loyal buyer here *****
We're excited about this new series from an author we already know and whose work we're fond of, this Arthurian comics set in the Minecraft world is really great for kids age 6+. The words and phrases are easy to understand for young kids, the storyline is easy to follow and the characters endearing, monsters are not easy to fight against so that's a thrill for the kid. We're hoping for many new episodes ahead, and inspiration to the author, I haven't seen any other King Arthur inspired comic books out there that are in Minecraft style (graphics and monsters).
