Received my pre-ordered copy, and although expensive, this book is a terrific read especially chapter seven. Many ideas from organizations like greenpeace are debunked. Page 138: "What most people don't know is that foods produced today, are much safer then at any time in history" [sic]. This fine book lucidly explains that it is just not true that GMOs are responsible for allergies and cancer. The critics of GMOs claim it's not natural. Well, what is then natural?? Rattle-snakes, scorpions, sharks, poison mushrooms are also natural. The book demonstrates that since the 1960s global food production has more then tripled, but total land to cultivate crops has hardly increased.
